C27400 Yellow Brass, also known as 63/37 Brass, is a widely used copper-zinc alloy that offers an ideal balance of strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. With about 63% copper and 37% zinc, this alloy is highly valued for its excellent formability, machinability, and bright golden-yellow finish, making it suitable for both functional and decorative applications.

C28500 Yellow Brass, also known as 70/30 Brass, is a copper-zinc alloy containing approximately 70% copper and 30% zinc. This alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and superior machinability, making it ideal for industrial, plumbing, and decorative applications. Its golden-yellow appearance adds aesthetic appeal, while its mechanical properties ensure durability and reliability in demanding environments.

C23000 brass is the most durable of all metals for commercial water pipe in the practical price range. Excellent for its resistance to dezincification and season cracking for which the high copper brasses are known. Moderate strength and good retention of spring properties. Specified for underground service lines since it offers greatest corrosion resistance to all types of portable waters. Applications for C23000 brass include costume jewelry, fire hose couplings, zippers, and condenser and heat exchanger tubes. Popular as an outdoor metal and has found for itself a very important place in modern architecture. also known as Nordic Brass. The EN equivalent for this alloy is CuZn15.

Red Brass with a nominal composition of 80 % copper and 20 % zinc approaches the mechanical properties of CuZn30 but with corrosion properties only slightly inferior to CuZn15. This alloy has a color between yellow and golden red and finds distinctive uses in decorative trim applications. Its color and tonal qualities prove advantageous for musical instruments. Thermostatic and instrument bellows and flexible hose utilize the combined ductility, strength and corrosion resistance characteristics of this alloy.
